A Wonderful Christmas

We had a great Christmas this year! As I am sitting here taking a break from putting away all of our gifts, I am thinking about how blessed that we are! It was definitely busy but we enjoyed every minute of it. The girls got all kinds of great things. They have not even opened all of them yet. Last week we did family Christmas parties and then Santa came to our house on Christmas Eve morning. Dustin worked on Christmas day so we wrote Santa a letter and he came a little early for us! This was the first year that Avery has really gotten into Santa so it was so much fun! After presents, we went to church for Christmas Eve services and then to another family Christmas party! This year we had 7 family Christmas get togethers on top of church activities and friends Christmas get togethers. That was exhausting but it was so much fun getting to see all of our family during this special time of the year. On Christmas day, we headed to Jackson for my grandmothers Christmas. We had a great visit. My grandmother and I took the girls to the movies on Friday and we did a little after Christmas shopping. On Saturday, the whole family came over and we ate until I did not think that I could eat anymore. It was yummy food and we were all stuffed. This week we are trying to recover and find a place for all of our new goodies! I am going to start working on the nursery next week so I want everything put away so that I can focus on that project.
